Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders Removal
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! |
2. Uncover with heads cylinders of the ignition distributor with the wires connected to it by VV. Disconnect wires from the plugs on a head of cylinders and its cover (see the Head Routine maintenance). Do not forget to mark a wire in order to avoid violation of an order of ignition at assembly. 3. Mark and disconnect from the case of a throttle and a cover of a head of cylinders everything the procedures of a wire disturbing to performance and hoses. 4. Carefully wipe a cover in order to avoid hit of garbage in a head cylinders/assembly of the valvate mechanism. 5. Turn out bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders – act as it should be, the return specified in a picture (see an illustration below). 6. Accurately uncover together with sealing laying. If laying of a podlipl to the interfaced head surface, tap a cover a hammer with soft brisk for the purpose of destruction of a layer of sealant. Do not make at all attempts to separate a cover by a poddevaniye it the lever entered between the interfaced surfaces. |
Installation
1. Separate old laying, then carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces of a head of cylinders and its cover. Having scratched out traces of old sealant and fragments of laying, wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone. 2. Check a condition of the isolating plugs through passage and rubber sealants established in candle niches. Replace defective components. Before installation of a cover make sure available on the places of rubber sealants of candles. 3. Impose a little RTV sealant on corners where the interfaced surface of a head adjoins to assembly of yokes. Wait about five minutes, waiting for the moment of the beginning of polymerization of sealant.
Make sure that the top layer of sealant slightly hardened, only after it start installation of a cover (in the conditions of the increased humidity polymerization of sealant can begin with a small delay). |
4. Fill new cast laying in the flute going on perimeter of a cover and press a cover to a head. Install the isolating plugs through passage, screw nuts and tighten them in that order (see an accompanying illustration) with the demanded effort (see Specifications). |
4. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to a removal order. |
