Replacement and adjustment of a cable of gear shifting
Replacement
|
|
Considered in the present manual of the car are equipped with safety cushions (SRS). When performing any works near sensors of blows, a steering column or the dashboard disconnect SRS (see schemes of electric connections at the end of the Head Onboard electric equipment). |
|
|
1. Remove the central console (see the Head Kuzov).
|
|
2. Transfer the selector lever to the situation "N" and remove a fixing clamp from the regulator of a driving cable (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
3. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Otboltite a gear shifting cable arm (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
4. Disconnect the holder of a cable from the floor panel, then release a cable from an assembly bracket (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
5. Uncover a cable (see an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
6. Give a fixing nut and remove the lever from a rod of management. Try not to bend excessively a cable in the course of its removal and installation. |
7. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to make adjustment of a cable (see below). |

Adjustment
|
|
1. Remove the central console (see the Head Kuzov).
2. Transfer the selector lever to the situation "N", then release a fixing clamp on assembly of the regulator of a cable (see an illustration the first illustration).

|
3. Two openings are provided in a tip of a cable. Openings are located at an angle 90 ° that allows to make adjustment of a cable with a step to 1/4 turns. Track that the opening in the regulator was accurately combined with a reciprocal opening in a tip (see an accompanying illustration). |
4. If it is not possible to achieve the demanded combination of openings, release a lock-nut of a cable and make necessary adjustment. Again strongly tighten a lock-nut.
5. Establish a fixing clamp on the regulator. If at installation of a clamp there is its jamming, it is necessary to make sure of correctness of adjustment of a cable.
6. Turn out fixing screws and correct position of the display panel of assembly of switching achieving alignment of its tags.
7. Screw fixing screws and strongly tighten them.

8. Make sure of combination white risks in the selector lever basis with a tag of "N" on the display panel (see an accompanying illustration). If tags are combined not accurately, correct position of the panel. |
9. Start the engine and check serviceability of switching of the lever of the selector in all possible provisions. If it is not possible to choose any of the modes of the movement it is not possible, address to section 2 materials. |
