Removal and installation of the K/V evaporator with the broad valve

The air conditioning system constantly is under a high pressure. Do not disconnect refrigerator lines at all and do not remove any components of system, previously without having executed a discharge of the last. The discharge of the air conditioning system has to be made by forces of the skilled expert in the conditions of a workshop of car service. At a rassoyedineniye of refrigerator lines surely put on goggles!

The cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety of SRS better known as a safety cushion. Before performing any works near assembly of a pillow or a steering column, without fail disconnect system in order to avoid receiving injuries as a result of its casual operation (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make a discharge of the air conditioning system in the conditions of a specialized workshop.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Disconnect a safety cushion.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!


3. Turn out bolts and disconnect from the evaporator two refrigerator lines (see an accompanying illustration). At once to a zakuporta the open ends of lines and unions in order to avoid hit in system of dirt.

4. Remove a ware box (see the Head Kuzov).
5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the K/V thermostat and remove clamps of a plait of wires from an evaporator casing.

6. Give fixture (see an accompanying illustration), disconnect a drainage hose from assembly and remove the evaporator from the car.

7a. Turn out forward fixing screws.

7b. Turn out back fixing screws, release clamps (see accompanying illustrations) and divide an evaporator casing into two half, previously having removed from it the К/В thermostat.

8. Take the evaporator heat exchanger from a casing, in case of need remove the broad valve.
9. Make charging of system in a specialized workshop.
