Removal and installation of the antenna of the radio receiver

Civic models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect an antenna cable from the radio receiver (see Removal and installation of the radio receiver and loudspeakers).
2. Tie up a piece of a string by the end of an antenna cable.

3. Turn out fixing screws and remove the antenna from a body rack (see an accompanying illustration).

4. Tie up a string, having attached it to a cable of the new antenna. Omit antenna assembly on the regular place, at the same time involving a cable for a string in a rack.
5. Untie a string and connect an antenna cable to assembly of the radio receiver. Screw screws of fastening of antenna assembly and strongly tighten them.

Integra models

Mast of the antenna equipped with the electric drive

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Stick with an adhesive tape the part of a wing of the car surrounding an antenna mast for protection of a paint and varnish covering. Give a fixing nut and remove a remote washer (see an accompanying illustration).

2. Ask the assistant to turn on the radio receiver and to lift the antenna in the top situation. Directing an antenna mast in process of promotion, remove it from the car (see an accompanying illustration).

3. At installation deploy the antenna teeths back and enter teeths into gearing with a driving cable. Turn on the radio receiver and allow an electric motor to involve an antenna mast in a wing (see an accompanying illustration).

4. Establish into place a remote washer and screw a fixing nut.

If the remote washer is equipped with a flat sealant, the last has to enter in the plug, settling down under a washer. The sealing ring is put over a remote washer.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On models with a body like Sedan remove the panel of a lateral internal upholstery in a luggage compartment. On the Hatchback models remove the Back lateral panel of an internal upholstery of salon.

2. Give a nut of fastening of the antenna, remove a washer (see an illustration). Give a nut of fastening of a driving electric motor (see an accompanying illustration). Disunite the electric socket and an antenna cable. Remove assembly of an electric motor.

3. Installation is made upside-down.
