Repair and operation of the car

Removal and installation of an instrument guard

Considered in the present manual of the car are equipped with safety cushions (SRS). When performing any works near sensors of blows, a steering column or the dashboard disconnect SRS (see schemes of electric connections at the end of the Head Onboard electric equipment).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. Remove a steering wheel (see the Head Podvesk and a steering).
3. Remove the central console (see Removal and installation of the central console.
4. Remove facing of an instrument guard (see Removal and installation of the dashboard).
5. Remove a combination of devices (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
6. Remove all sections of the dashboard (see Removal and installation of the dashboard).
7. Give fixture (nuts and bolts) of the assembly block of safety locks and the handle of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl (see Removal and installation of a latch of the lock of a cowl and cable of its drive and the Head Onboard electric equipment).

8. Give fixing nuts and lower a steering column (see an accompanying illustration).

9a. Turn out fixing screws.

9b. Having hooked a screw-driver, release from the dashboard deflectors of air ducts (see accompanying illustrations).

10. Having hooked a screw-driver, remove forward overlays of door thresholds.

11. Turn out lateral screws of fastening of assembly of an instrument guard (see an accompanying illustration).

12. Remove the radio tape recorder (see the Head Onboard electric equipment) and assembly of management of a heater (see the Head of the Cooling system and heating).

13. Turn out the lower screws in the central part of an instrument guard (see an accompanying illustration).

14. Turn out bolts of fastening of the upper edge of a guard to a partition of a motive compartment.
15. Pull a guard on yourself and disconnect from it all electrical wiring.
16. Through a steering column remove a guard from the car.
17. Installation is made upside-down.
